The onsite heated indoor pool was built so that all the boys at the school could benefit from the facility.

The aim is to ensure that the boys are confident in the water and able to swim by the time they leave the school. Half the pool is at a depth of 0.9 metres which allows the younger children to stand in the water and feel secure.

The Kindergarten boys go swimming once a week. In their first term, parents are encouraged to join in the sessions so that the boys are familiar with the routine. As they move into the Pre-Prep the boys are taught in small groups according to their ability. Pre-Prep children also have weekly swimming sessions.

In the Main School, swimming is part of the Physical Education programme. The boys are taught the range of strokes and are encouraged to develop their techniques. After school swimming sessions take place and the more talented pupils are able to take part in local galas.
