St Martin’s Chamber Choir brought early Christmas cheer to the residents at the Northwood Nursing Home. Following on from the success of yesterday evening’s excellent Carol Service at Holy Trinity Church, the Chamber Choir delivered a programme of Christmas music to an appreciative audience at the home in Eastbury Avenue.
Dylan said, “We sang many of the same carols but this time the residents joined in, which was nice. The residents seemed happy when we spoke to them afterwards. They told us how much they had enjoyed the singing and that we must come back again next year.
Adam added, “The staff kindly provided us with some delicious snacks, including mince pies, biscuits and juice!”
Aidan and Vincent also enjoyed their visit and said that the staff who worked at the home were very kind.
This was our third visit to the Northwood Nursing Home and we look forward to a return visit next year. Thank you to Mrs Harris, Mrs Dinsdale and Mr Taylor for accompanying the trip.Return to news
